Attendance at the full 8-hour session is required

Course meets OSHA training requirements found in 29 CFR 1910.120q and includes:

• Knowledge of employer’s emergency response plan, and basic hazard and risk assessment techniques.
• Know how to select & use PPE provided to the first responder operational level.
• An understanding of basic hazardous materials terms.
• Know how to perform basic control, containment and/or confinement operations within the capabilities of the resources and personal protective equipment available with their unit.
• Know how to implement basic decontamination procedure
• An understanding of the relevant standard operating procedures and termination procedures.

Target audience: manufacturing personnel who potentially could be involved in hazardous substances control and containment.

Course fee: $150.00 (lunch included) and requires pre-registration
